Geoff attended the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law and graduated in 2015, receiving his Juris Doctor. Geoff completed his articles with a boutique civil litigation firm in Hamilton and joined SimpsonWigle Law after being called to the bar in 2016.
Geoff’s practice focuses primarily on workplace law including employment law, labour law and human rights. Geoff represents employers and employees at all stages of the employment relationship including the pre-employment phase, hiring, disciplinary matters and discharge matters. He also advises clients regarding regulatory matters and assists clients in drafting employment contracts and workplace policies.
While in law school Geoff volunteered at the University of Western Ontario community legal aid clinic, assisting with employment law matters and small claims court matters. His litigation experience includes appearances in Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Landlord and Tennant Board.
