Your articling experience at SimpsonWigle LAW will include:
You will complete two rotations while articling at the firm, one with our litigation group and the other with our transactions lawyers. As a student, you will get exposure to all areas of our practice.
You will be assigned a mentor who will regularly meet with you to discuss how you are progressing and to provide guidance on your skills development. We are direct, open and informal; you will get the feedback you need to grow.
SimpsonWigle LAW LLP provides an excellent arena for the hands-on experience that should form the basis of your training. You will be given a great deal of responsibility for the files you work on and the opportunity to be exposed to or be involved in all stages of client work including client meetings.
In addition to a base salary which is competitive in the market for 2023 articling students, you will receive extended health and dental coverage for the duration of your contract, two weeks paid vacation and half the cost of your Bar Admission exams.
SimpsonWigle LAW LLP complies with the guidelines of the Law Society of Ontario in conducting interviews for articling positions in Hamilton.
