James is a Partner at Simpsonwigle LAW and is engaged in a business law practice, with an emphasis on:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Franchising and licensing
  • Intellectual property and technology issues
  • Commercial leases

Jim represents a wide range of clients, focusing in particular on owner-managed companies. He serves as outside general counsel for many of the firm’s clients, including advising their chief executive officer and board of directors. Jim participates in client’s senior management team’s policy and strategy formulation. Jim also oversees and directs litigation counsel in complex commercial litigation matters.
