Unionized Environments: we act for employers in collective bargaining, we assist them to interpret and apply collective agreements in the day-to-day operation of their businesses and we represent them at grievance arbitrations;
Employment Law: we act for employers and employees, providing advice, representation and trial advocacy in relation to wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, workplace restructuring, employment contract and non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality issues;
Human Rights : we assist employers in their development of effective harassment policies and procedures and advise them concerning matters such as religious observances, child care and family status issues and disability management and accommodation; we also act for employers in responding to Applications filed by employees before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario;
Statutory Compliance : we advise and assist employers in meeting their obligations under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, Labour Relations Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Canada Labour Code, etc. and represent them at hearings or prosecutions involving such legislation;
Attendance Management: we provide practical and strategic advice to help employers address employee attendance issues and challenges such as disability accommodation, dealing with medical professionals, absenteeism and so on.
