Erik, a Partner with SIMPSONWIGLE LAW in the Burlington office, has engaged in the practice of litigation since 2002. Erik enjoys a wide-ranging condominium and commercial litigation practice.

Erik is a seasoned and respected condominium litigator relating to issues under the Ontario Condominium Act. Erik often acts in compliance cases involving mediations, arbitrations and applications before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as well as: enforcement of condominium liens, shared facilities disagreements and construction deficiency cases. Erik regularly acts for condominium corporations, board of directors, developers, property managers and owners in the Golden Horseshoe area and has substantial experience in mediation and arbitration of condominium-related disputes.

Erik routinely acts for corporate clients including entrepreneurs, large and small businesses as well as institutional lenders and trustees in bankruptcy.

Erik often appears in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. He has also appeared in the Human Rights Tribunal, the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Small Claims Court. Erik has substantial experience in:
