These resolutions can include a variety of issues in the areas of liens, breach of trust, labour and material payment bonds, debt collection, performance bonds and contract preparation.

A THOROUGH, RESULTS-ORIENTED APPROACH
"I undergo both a dialog phase and an understanding phase with my clients. I look to gain insight into their motivation and desired outcomes – I take the same approach with opposing counsel. My goal is to always be the most prepared person in the room.”
WHAT SETS SANTIAGO APART
"Litigation is a process that is, at times, slow and intensive. I strongly believe that in order to serve my clients best I need to take the time to understand all the comprehensive issues that could affect their case.”
THE BEST PART OF THE JOB
“I appreciate all parts of my job, but what really excites me is when I get to focus on the real issues in any given lawsuit; drafting a statement of claim, some comprehensive reading or taking a deep dive into substantive legal issues. It’s a fascinating field.”
ACTIVE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY
While in law school, Santiago was the winner of the Cartmell Shephard Senior Individual Mooting Competition, as well as the Dickinson Dees Senior Client Interviewing Competition.
Santiago enjoys speaking on various topics related to construction law and has conducted lien primer presentations for colleges and associations within the construction industry.
